Jimmy Sabater sees his paintings as having a
Primitive style, a term he applies to his portraits as well as his
Abstract works. As he says, "It doesn't matter the style you use;
it's just a question of the feeling about what you see. Primitives
and Abstracts are two different ways of using rhytms and colors. I
like to paint as if I was just the tool of my unconscious. I want to
express my child-like side by using synthesized features and bright
and hope-filled colors.
